*SECONDS* Rabbit Hide Pet Treats - Small (1oz)
1oz of Rabbit Hide Treats (20-25 individual pieces).
Each package is $5.49.
These treats are discounted due to being “dirty”. Prior to offering these treats as seconds, we would feed them to our own dogs or compost them. Blood is inevitable when processing animals. Washing and drying the fur before it spoils is nearly impossible because the fur is so dense. So we always have some “scraps” that just don’t quite meet our quality standards. There’s nothing wrong with the treats, they’re just not the prettiest. In fact, your dogs will probably enjoy them more!
As always, the treats are single ingredient, containing absolutely NO additives or preservatives. They are also free of antibiotics and added hormones.
Rabbit fur is a natural dewormer. As it passes through the digestive system it picks up any worms/ eggs and undigested food, improving digestion. It is also a great teeth cleaning tool and full of beneficial vitamins and minerals.
Our rabbits are humanely raised on a small scale. After the rabbits are harvested the hide is cut into small pieces and dehydrated.
The date on the package is when they come out of the dehydrator. After that, they go straight to the freezer for storage until shipping. If you plan on keeping your treats for longer than a week please store them in the freezer. They can be fed frozen too!
Please always supervise your pet with any treats/ chews, even safe treats and chews can be a choking hazard if your dog doesn’t swallow properly.
