It all began with two high school sweethearts who adopted a rescue pup with severe food sensitivities. Fueled by a passion to leave this earth better for the next generation, H&N Homestead began. From small town farmer’s markets to our very own website, we can’t do any of it without you and your pets!

Meet Ellie – the original inspiration behind H&N Homestead. She’s a seven-year-old rescue with a brilliant brain, endless enthusiasm, and a serious passion for toys and treats. If it makes the cut with Ellie, we know it’s good!

Ellie loves long hikes, outdoor adventures, and putting her nose to work. Many of the shed deer antlers we offer are found by Ellie herself!

Everything we create is rooted in the love we have for dogs and the commitment to only make treats we feel good about feeding them.

    Ryan & Danielle of Unleashed Manners

    We’re excited to introduce Ryan and Danielle, the dedicated duo behind Unleashed Manners—and proud members of the H&N Ambassador Program!

    As lifelong dog owners and with 10 years of experience training dogs, Ryan has worked with dogs of all backgrounds—from rescues to working breeds—while Danielle brings valuable insight from her work in local veterinary clinics. Together, they offer personalized, affordable Board & Train programs that meet each dog and family’s unique needs.

    Dora and Rico

    With years of experience working in veterinary medicine, dog training, and now as an Adoption & Welfare Specialist at a local animal shelter, Dora has dedicated her life to helping pets feel safe, understood, and deeply loved.

    Her soul dog, Rico, is a lovable 6 year old rescued American Staffordshire Terrier with a giant heart and an even bigger love for snacks. When not hiking or chasing small critters, Rico can usually be found sampling new treats with enthusiasm. H&N Homestead’s rabbit ears have stayed his all-time favorite!

    For Dora, choosing H&N Homestead is about more than nutrition, it’s about giving Rico food she can trust. Healthy ingredients and thoughtful sourcing align perfectly with the way she lives and works.
