The quail are humanely raised and harvested by us in Wisconsin.
Chewing on raw meaty bones, like Quail Wings, can help clean your dog’s teeth naturally, reducing plaque and promoting healthy gums. Quail is considered a novel protein, making it hypoallergenic, great for dogs with allergies.
After the quail are harvested, the wings are freeze dried. This is a drying process called lyophilization. Water (ice) is put under pressure and removed through sublimation. Freeze drying retains about 97% of nutrients, whereas dehydrating only retains 60-70%.
