Freeze Dried Rabbit Meat Treats are a lean, protein-rich snack made from 100% rabbit meat. These treats are a simple, biologically appropriate option for both dogs and cats and are great for training, enrichment, or everyday rewarding. Rabbit is a novel protein for many pets, making it a great option for owners looking to add variety to their pet’s diet.
These rabbit meat treats are single ingredient, containing absolutely NO additives, preservatives, fillers, or artificial ingredients. They are also free of antibiotics and added hormones.
All of our products are sourced from small-scale farms and homesteads in Wisconsin, where the rabbits are raised for human consumption and self-sustenance.
After harvest, the rabbit meat is cut into bite-sized pieces and freeze dried. This drying process, called lyophilization, removes moisture through sublimation while preserving the product’s natural nutrients and flavor. Freeze drying retains about 97% of nutrients, whereas dehydrating typically retains only 60–70%.
