Freeze Dried Rabbit Tails
Sold individually. Small - $1.69. Large - $1.99.
Small Freeze Dried Rabbit Tails measure under 4 inches and Large Freeze Dried Rabbit Tails measure over 4 inches.
Fluffy treats that also make great cat toys!
Freeze Dried Rabbit Tails are a good way to introduce bones to your pet while still getting all of the benefits from fur. Rabbit Tails are softer bones than Rabbit Feet and can be a better choice for smaller pets.
The tails are single ingredient containing absolutely NO additives or preservatives. They are also free of antibiotics and added horomones.
All of our products are sourced from small scale farms and homesteads in Wisconsin and Iowa, where the rabbits are raised for human consumption and self sustenance.
After the rabbits are harvested, the tails are rinsed and freeze dried. This is a drying process called lyophilization. Water (ice) is put under pressure and removed through sublimation. Freeze drying retains about 97% of nutrients whereas dehydrating only retains 60-70%.
Feeding bones can be a controversial topic. Check out our Blog Post for more information on Dehydrated vs. Freeze Dried bones.
Please always supervise your pet with any treats/chews. Even safe treats and chews can be a choking hazard if your pet doesn’t swallow properly. All of our products are “feed at your own risk”. Lastly, we are not veterinarians and these products are not intended for human consumption.
